The contrast between shiny glazed porcelain surfaces and matte reliefs made of biscuit porcelain creates a rich visual and tactile experience. This makes the contrasting textures of smoothness and velvety textures in the delicate variants of the BLANC NOUVEAU PASTELL range, from soft blue to apricot, all the more appealing.

Each piece in the KPM Individual series is unique in the truest sense of the word. As a gift, it has embodied the highest level of personal appreciation for over 250 years. The KPM master painting team personalizes almost every KPM favorite piece with initials, an elegant signature or a personal message. This combines perfected craftsmanship with artistic master painting. An ideal gift for unique occasions such as births, baptisms and weddings or simply as a special piece for your own collection.
Thomas Wenzel heads the artistic development department at KPM Berlin. In addition to his work as a designer, innovative decor and manufacturing techniques that meet the challenges of modern table culture are an important focus of his work. The KURLAND BLANC NOUVEAU collection, introduced in 2013 to mark the 250th anniversary of the manufactory, is also based on Wenzel's development work. In addition to the current LAB series, Wenzel's more recent designs include the award-winning KPM coffee filter and the KURLAND to-go cup.
