KPM Berlin goes
Pop-up CAFFÈ RIMOWA Milan
Ciao Milano: During the Milan Design Week, KPM Berlin is equipping the CAFFÈ RIMOWA pop-up in Milan with its iconic BERLIN espresso cup by Enzo Mari, thus celebrating Italian coffee culture.
Espresso please!
To mark the start of Milan Design Week, the RIMOWA label - known for its durable aluminum suitcases - is celebrating the launch of its first espresso machine in collaboration with La Marzocco with a pop-up café in the heart of Milan. The coffee is served in style in a KPM porcelain icon by Enzo Mari. The espresso cup from his BERLIN collection was reissued exclusively for CAFFÈ RIMOWA with matching logo lettering and without a handle. The Berlin espresso cup is synonymous with the masterful craftsmanship of KPM and Italian design, making it the perfect addition to the Linea Mini by RIMOWA x La Marzocco
Stop by: CAFFÈ RIMOWA, 16 to 21 April, 10:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., Via Achille Maiocchi 3, Milan.
The KPM Collection BERLIN by Enzo Mari
The espresso cup reissued for CAFFÈ RIMOWA was originally created as part of the BERLIN collection, which the Italian designer Enzo Mari developed in 1996 in collaboration with the master workshop of KPM Berlin. Its simple and functional design with the convex-concave shapes brings opposites into a harmonious balance as a tribute to the German capital and skilfully combines Italian design with the craftsmanship of KPM Berlin.
Today, the BERLIN collection is considered a modern masterpiece of porcelain art.
