The stately property from the 16th century is embedded in the fairytale natural landscape between Bad Hersfeld, Kassel and Eisenach. Here the herbs and fruits come from the surrounding gardens, the water from the in-house wells and the game from the private reserve. What cannot be produced in-house is supplied by local producers. Only fish and seafood are bought directly from fishermen from Brittany or Skagen in Denmark. You can sample the exceptionally honest cuisine of host Peter Niemann and his team in the gourmet restaurant “La Vallée Verte”. Served on KPM porcelain, a complete culinary delight!
